Where It Started

At Forward Counseling, we’re passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those facing challenges with emotional and physical intimacy. For more than a decade, our founder has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in various judicial systems, advocating for individuals of sexual trauma. We understand the complexities that survivors of sexual assault often navigate, including heightened fear, anxiety, depression, guilt, and diminished self-esteem.

We have worked closely with first responders as a NAMI certified Crisis Intervention trainer for several years. We’re also an AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) certified therapist providing equitable care to victims of sex work and sex trafficking.

At Forward Counseling, we empower our clients to embrace their authentic selves by letting go of dysfunctional patterns and developing lifelong, healthy strategies. We’re here to support you on your journey towards healing and resilience.
